I'm so happy to start this New Year. Last year had a pretty sucky beginning when my grandfather died on the 17th. I miss him. Christmas without him didn't feel right. I wonder how long it will take to feel "right" again. Time will tell.
I'm currently knitting a baby blanket for a neighbor. Her son has nearly worn through the one I made for her baby shower. It's cool to know something I knitted actually gets some use!
I quit my job. Yay! I can get back to full time homeschooling. We'll be starting a new curriculum, and I'm really looking forward to that.
The family got a new Nintendo Wii for Christmas, and we all love it. I've had more exercise playing on this thing for 3 days than I've had in the past year. This Wii will make me healthier. I'm sure of it. And they say video games are bad for you.... ha! Ok, my arm hurts like all hell... I have the infamous Wii Arm. It's nothing a little Aleve won't fix.
Anyways, I'm off to conquer my laundry. I'm starting my New Year by conquering Mount LaundryMore. I will reach the summit. I will succeed. I will not only fold it all, but I will put it away too! Carpe Diem. My new life begins today.
